Is PTE Easier Than IELTS? My Experience and Tips

   • You don’t need to be an expert in English to perform well in PTE.

2. Personal Experience:

   • Initially took IELTS and scored:

     • Overall: 6

     • Listening: 6, Reading: 6, Writing: 5.5, Speaking: 6

   • Switched to PTE with the same level of preparation and scored 66 (equivalent to IELTS 7).

3. Key Features of PTE:

   • Computer-based exam, making it more structured and predictable.

   • Requires clear speaking for the computer to recognize and evaluate your responses accurately.

4. Section-wise Tips:

   • Speaking Section:

     • Speak clearly and confidently to ensure the computer understands your words.

   • Writing Section:

     • Focus on typing speed and quick thinking.

     • Aim to write at least 200 words in the essay.

   • Reading Section:

     • Skim paragraphs quickly and choose the most suitable answers.

   • Listening Section:

     • Depends on your ability to understand different English accents and slangs.
